I have recently delved into the world of digital art. LOL (who knew, right?)
A few weeks ago, I joined the visual arts circle of our college's artists' organization. Naturally, I tried to do what it took to contribute something.
I already knew from way, way back that I have a natural talent for drawing poorly, so obviously that one's out the window. That also goes for painting, or coloring, or anything visual arts-related. Or so I thought.
I have been an avid fan of digital arts recently, and I noticed that the college organizations release really wonderful pubmats (publication materials) during events. I had very minimal knowledge of this software called Photoshop, so I decided to watch tutorials on the know-hows and basics of it.
I'm still a million miles away from being almost okay, but I figured I'd post some of the tinkerings I did, just in case I think of awesome ideas later.

This one, I drew inspiration from tumblr pictures I see online.
This one was actually something I did for the org. Our upcoming general assembly is themed after a carnival, so naturally the tickets are designed like those in carnivals.
This is something I was just trying out. I tried doing a pubmat for our upcoming sign-ups for the visual arts circle, and this is what I came up with.
Obviously, I still need a lot of work, in a lot of things. I just hope I'm heading in the right direction, and I hope to learn a lot more about digital art in the upcoming weeks.
