About 3 or 4 years ago, I had this wild dream of being able to write a grandiose love song that the whole world will know. So, me being me, I tried to write one. Needless to say, it sucked. Little did I know that in just 3 to 4 years, I would attempt to do the whole thing again -- and succeed, relatively.
I have always been very fond of writing (hence the blog). More than an outlet, it's a good exercise for your creative ideas to start flowing.
During high school, I started a Wattpad account so I could post some of the stuff I did. It was a minefield of stories, and it helped in keeping your creativity growing.
A few years back, I posted three of my stories over at the account.

'Zombie movies are overrated.'
'So... basically The Walking Dead?'
'Everyone's just gonna die in the end.'
This was what everyone, including me, initially thought when I heard about 'another zombie movie' showing in theaters. But boy was I wrong about Train to Busan.
For the average movie-goer, Train to Busan might seem as your typical zombie movie, just set in a more creative location (i.e. a train). However, it managed to transcend the subgenre -- managing to showcase a mix of thriller, action, and drama for the audience.
I have recently delved into the world of digital art. LOL (who knew, right?)
A few weeks ago, I joined the visual arts circle of our college's artists' organization. Naturally, I tried to do what it took to contribute something.
I already knew from way, way back that I have a natural talent for drawing poorly, so obviously that one's out the window. That also goes for painting, or coloring, or anything visual arts-related. Or so I thought.
I have been an avid fan of digital arts recently, and I noticed that the college organizations release really wonderful pubmats (publication materials) during events. I had very minimal knowledge of this software called Photoshop, so I decided to watch tutorials on the know-hows and basics of it.

I have been a little bit obsessed (understatement of the year) with country music during the past year.
There's just something about country music that is homey and warm.
If you could take a look on my spotify, you would see that most of the playlists I play are under country. (New Boots, Country Hits, Hot Country, etc.)
There's a whole lot of very underrated country artists out there that never reach the Philippine airwaves, and it's a shame that musical talent like theirs are wasted.

After almost three years, I have decided to finally revamp this blog and relaunch it.
What started out as a very random blog to post any of my quirky misadventures now turns into a site of thought, art, music, and whatnot.
Along with this relaunching is my change of signature. I have decided to use my name, Wesley, in running the page.
So, without further ado, welcome to W E S L E Y.
